Cake Filled Weekend!

Hey Guys

Well! I have had one of the most enjoyable, and slightly stressful weekends ever, baking and decorating two very different cakes!

I did a 21st cake for my lovely friend Trev, where I got out my air brush and did the stars and stripes for him over a chocolate 2 and a 1! it looked quite tye dye, saddly I forgot to get a picture I was in that much of a rush!

I also did a lovely guitar shaped cake with a union jack background for thee boyfriends dad's 50th! it went down a treat! I was even lucky enough to sample a piece and if I must say, tasted devine! :-)

The picture isn't too good! the boyfriend took this and his photo skills are a little rusty! haha

Next weekend I am making some assorted cupcakes for a party! looking forward to another weekend of baking!

Cupcake Heaven

Hey Guys!
I did a lovely batch of assorted cupcakes yesterday, consisting of Classic Victoria's

Zesty Lemon Meringue!

Ginger Cake, with an Orange Buttercream, (And not forgetting the more important bit..Glitter! :D)

I also did a Chocolate Orange Bomb, but didn't manage to get a snapshot!
The cupcakes seemed to go down a treat, and I was told lasted a whole 30 seconds due to their morishnessss! :-)


Next week I have the biggest order I will ever have in a weekend, and I can't wait for the challenge! I have two huge cakes, for some pretty big milestones in Birthday terms, and a house party where I will be giving a little presentation (eep!) and hopefully selling a few of my cupcakes :-)!
